news

We are living in a world that is changing at an ever increasingly, accelerated rate. What was the latest in technology yesterday is becoming obsolete in light of today’s technology; the auto market is no exception. New innovative technology in the auto industry has brought us a new breed of cars that can help us with the challenges that we face today as well as those that we will face in the future.

One of the challenges that we are faced with is renewable energy, namely oil. World wide oil consumption has increased over the past few years and just recently we have seen a dramatic increase in the price of oil; which has led to higher gas prices at the pump. This has been a burden to the average consumer who has no other choice but to pay those high prices at the pump. Now it’s true that oil prices have retracted and gas prices have come down as well, but it is extremely likely that oil prices will go back up; and we will see those high gas prices again. However there is hope; the auto industry has come out with a new line of electric and hybrid cars that can help to wean us off dependence on oil.

Here are some electric cars that are already available or will be available in 2010 and beyond.
